She's 18...

For any of you mothers out there, you will know what this post means.

My oldest beautiful girl turns 18 today. I cannot believe it.

Hannah Grace, the firstborn to our amazing brood of five, is officially an adult. I think she has been that in mind and heart for much longer than a few hours, but there is something about saying, "She is 18."

In fact, it makes me cry a little bit. You see, I remember her as she was not so long ago, as a baby loved  in such a crazy powerful way.

Then you grew along with your first sister and brother...

And then two more sisters...

And you started to grow up!

And you were blessed with friends that have lasted your lifetime.

And then you hit your early teen years where you started being you--serving your family in so many ways.

And now I can hardly believe the young woman you have become.

And your joy and kindness makes my life rich.

And you are one of my best friends in the world.

And while you are beautiful on the outside, you are most beautiful on the inside.

I love you more than words can express.

Happy Birthday, Hannah Grace.

Love,
Mama

She is beautiful!!! I know the feeling. My oldest son turned 18 in the beginning of June and graduated this year. It's a wonderful feeling and a scarey feeling all wrapped up together wondering what God has in store for them. God Bless.
