25% Off Great Books in May? Oh yes!

Where? Here:

Homeschool Library Builder is brand new to me and may be brand new to you too. I had never heard of it before the Crew and am really glad to have discovered this company. HLB is a homeschool family-run business that offers quality literature at a great price. This is literature that every homeschool family reads and many desire to own. Here are their categories:

     South America
Vintage & Hard-to-Find Books

They also have a search function too, but I liked seeing what was available under these headings. It is always neat to see how other people categorize books and to find a bunch of resources for Africa all in one place was pretty neat. How many books set in the Polar Regions can you come up with off the top of your head? This is so helpful when you are studying a certain area. They offer all sorts of titles, picture books, classics and so much more. I especially liked the Vintage & Hard-to-Find Books because there are titles you don't see very often listed there.

Each book is listed as a hardback or softcover, and then the condition is clearly labeled:

New - Publisher's Remainder
Like New
Very Good
Good/Very Good
Good
Fair
Poor

The condition of the items is clearly defined on the site for you so you don't wonder if your version of good is their version of good! Having purchased from Amazon's Marketplace, this is a really nice thing to see.

HLB also has a membership program where you can direct people to their website and earn "Book Points." These Book Points earn you free books over time. I don't know a single homeschool mom that doesn't like that.

So when I say deals, what do I mean? This is what I mean:
Knights: The Age of Adventure to Unlock and Discover (Treasure Chests) is listed at $10.99 and is brand new.

The Human Body is listed at $3.99 in new condition. The retail price is $9.99.

Incredible Journeys - Myths and Legends from Around the World is oversized, hardcover, and new at only $6.50.

So if you are looking for good prices and some quality literature choices, I suggest you check out Homeschool Library Builder. They might have just what you were looking for. Come see what the Crew had to say about HLB over on the Crew blog.

Thanks for such a comprehensive review. I appreciate the examples. Those are good deals! In our current location, it's hard to get books shipped, so I had kind of sworn off shopping, but you're tempting me! :)
