Many of you have read about the court situation in Southern California. It is so easy to get upset or worried about the things happening today, but I want to offer what is real consolation and comfort to me. Our God is a mighty God!

Psalm 46
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Come, behold the works of the Lord
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.

Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Oh goodness, I needed to read this. It can be so hard to just "be still", you know? This cold thing has knocked me out, my tiling work is done, but I'm certainly sick because of it. I wanted to ask you, where do we find "buttons" to put on our blogs for TOS? And I saw one on someone's blog once for being a Reviewer, do you know how I find that one? Thanks for any info you have. Hugs!

Is that a California statement or what :)

Schwarzeneggar spoke strongly against this renegade judge's ruling today. Makes me glad I supported him - a few other things he's done have made me glad, too.

This will not stand. I feel confident.

Hi Kate,

I don't know if you remember me or not, but you were the first person I thought of when we heard the news. I just wanted to stop by to see how you are doing. What a beautiful scripture to hold on to.

Praying for all of you,
