It's Crystal!

Yes, it has been fifteen years since my beloved and I made our wedding vows in front of God and man.  Each of us wrote our own.  Just what did I say when I promised my life to my husband?  It was very good for me to read them again. Here is what I said:

Mark, I will always love you. I promise to make Jesus Christ the head of our lives, giving my heart to Him first, and then to you. I promise to make our home a warm place. A place of comfort, peace, and happiness. I pledge to respect you, honor you, encourage you and rejoice with you, through our sorrows and our joys, praising the Lord for all things.

Though adversity will surely come, our love will never fail. I will hope with you, pray with you, worship with you and above all will be one with you in the Lord Jesus Christ. I commit my life to you eternally, to cherish you from deep within me, and to be your best friend.

Mark, in front of our Sovereign Lord, our loving families and friends, I pledge myself to you forever. I love you.

And so, after these fifteen years, I pledge this again. I say to all the world that I love my husband, that I would do it all over again - the good times and the bad, the laughter and the tears. You are a precious gift from God to me and I am blessed to be your wife.

Happy Anniversary!

My hubby and I have been married 9 years today!! Congrats to you! :o) Have you ever taken your picture outside of a 7/11? We did the day we got married - in our wedding gown and tux, even. We had someone take a picture of us on our 5th anniversary, and plan to do it every 5 years.

:o) Rachel

The knowledge that you would do it all over again is a mark of blessing beyond measure. I hope the next 15 years are as full of blessings, growth, and love as the last 15 have been, and more.

God bless, and happy anniverary!

Mrs. Kessler

I was really surprised and glad to receive a comment from you. Thank you.

Your words were truly heart-warming and too much! It seems I have needed those types of comments as some here on HSB don't like me too well...

It has been my pleasure to know your daughters. They are so mature and well-spoken. I look forward to meeting irl someday. That will be awesome.

And, I'm still deciding on what is me for my blog template. I absolutely love yours. It's so elegant and purtty!

And, it's amazing to see how much people change in 15yrs. I wonder what I will look like... anyway you make a lovely couple!!
