Not around much!

Now honestly, I don't know that too many folks read my blog, but those of you who do - sorry I have not been here very much! This week has been especially taxing as I have been readying the family for a four day trip to Clear Lake, CA. That means lots of laundry, meal planning, animal care, car care, making sure we have sunblock, decent towels, and late-night runs to satisfy the cravings for chocolate shakes to stave off the stress. :+) We are almost ready and we leave tomorrow. Prayers for safe travel are always appreciated!

We had a lovely Father's Day. Yes, I know, that *was* a while ago, but he was very much appreciated here. I just didn't blog about it! :+)

Here we are enjoying our first outside BBQ of the year with his new tabletop BBQ (not pictured). The little girls decorated the tables and the bigs brought out the chairs. It was a gorgeous night and we had such an enjoyable time together! We ate marinated London Broil! I mix a combo of canola oil, fresh garlic, soy sauce, and ginger together and let it soak it up all day. It was SO good!! By the end of the night we all felt like this:

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

Enjoy your weekend!

What happy photos! I love your little butterfly net/cage thing? Does it have actual butterflies in it? I have always wanted to do that!
