Celebrating 36 years

Today is my birthday and I am celebrating! My dear and precious, sweet and wonderful friend Kolbi sent me these gorgeous beauties (and that is chocolate in the green package!)

I am SO grateful for all I have been given; flowers, friendships, family and my Savior.

I am going to celebrate it with my most precious gifts here for you:

My wonderful husband and I in our Sunday best:

My happy blue-eyed sweety:

My smiling fallish girl:

My one and only Wolf cub:

My brown-eyed pixie:

My smallest smallish bear girl:

Am I not blessed on this my 36th year? Thank you, Jesus, for the life I lead.

Happy Birthday, my old friend (old as in the length of years I've known you, no reference to your age intended). I'm so glad that we were able to meet again this summer and have been able to stay in touch a bit via the blogs. Hoping yours is the happiest of days!

I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! And you know what? Your 'blue-eyed sweetie' wouldn't be very 'sweetie' without her, 'drop-dead georgeous', 'Ghiredelli's-loving', 'outstandingly productive' and (I love this one) 'Absolutely-Positutely chosen to recieve the BEST MOTHER EVER award!'

Wow. I can't believe God saw fit to give me YOU! Happy Birthday to a Wondrous Woman!

God Bless My Mother! (Who is even in her 'Sunday-Best dress'! (: )

I hope you had a FABULOUS birthday, and I can't WAIT to hear what desserty-type-of-food-containing-lit-candles you had!!!

You are such a wonderful person, and the Mariel comment was SO incredibly sweet. You simply MUST cut-and-paste that one, print it out and stick it in your Bible or scrapbook or something. Which is why I envy you your daughters. Because I love my sons and all, really I do, but they would NEVER EVER EVER think to write anything like that EVER to me, even if they felt that way. Which leads me to say, again, that you have more than enough daughters such that you could share with friends who do not. But this is your Birthday, after all, and so I will not resume my normal Gosh You are SO Selfish For Not Sharing Your Daughters whine. :)

Much Love,

Jo's Boys, and only boys, and not a daughter to be seen amogst them <3

oh, and

p.s. Here I am, reading your blog, which I do every single day, just in case you were wondering..... :)

(Sorry I'm a day late, but my computer crashed yesterday. It's good to know atleast someone else had a reason to celebrate yesterday.)

HAPPIEST OF HAPPY BIRTHDAYS TO MY DEAR PAL KATE!

What would life be without your smiling face finding me at Borders, your "l&o" conversation over margaritas, or the occasional phone call that brightens my day? I am so blessed to have you as my down-the-road friend.

Love,

DI
