Five children killed in SR-395 head-on collision

SPOKANE - The Washington State Patrol has confirmed five people - all children - were killed in a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon on Highway 395 north of Spokane.


The five children are all members of the Schrock family from Chewelah, Washington. They are 12 year old Carmen, ten year old Jana, eight year old Corina, five year old Jerrill and two year old Creig. The children's father, 38 year old Jeffrey Schrock, was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuies.

I cannot imagine waking up to this nightmare. May we all lift them up in prayer and may God's compassion, comfort, and love surround them during this terrible time.
