Birthday thanks to Special People...

Thank you to my precious children for starting my day out on the right foot by decorating the house with streamers and balloons. Thank you for loving me and celebrating my life. I love you!

Thank you to my dear and special friend, Kolbi, in far-away Florida, who sent me a delightful card full of very funny greetings and silly sentences that brought me happy laughter. Thank you so very much for the card and for the "tendered token of Birthday joy." It is much appreciated and will be promptly used. I only wish I could use it in company with you.

Thank you to my dear girlfriends, Heather and Di, for sharing a lovely evening out to eat and then onto a bookstore for mochas and new book smell. It was a grand and special way to end my 35th. Thank you so much!

To my dearest husband, thank you so very much for your kindness to me today! I love love love my new gift of romantic music. He purchased for me the Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility soundtracks. I think this is the most thoughtful and precious birthday gift ever. I love you!

Thank you all for being here. For reading what I have to say; for caring about me.  It means a great deal.

Dear, dear Kate:

Happy Birthday! I'm so very envious that you got to have a night out with Di. How I would love to do something like that with you at some point!

Hugs to you.
