Questions! Questions!

Since no one but the brave Pilot Mom, Claire Bug, was willing to play, I will provide her with some interesting questions and offer them to any who wish to answer them. No need to ask anyone else to answer further questions, the buck stops here! :-) All I do ask is that if you answer them, please post a comment so that I know to look. I cannot always make it around to everyone's front doors each day with five children and a homeschool to run. Here they are:

1. What two fiction books have affected your life in such a way as to make a difference?

2. If you could transport yourself into any particular time period, but had to stay there forever with your family, where would you go, and what kind of person would you be?

3. What is one thing that most people do not know about you?

4. If you could make a public announcement for everyone to hear, what would you say?

5. Why do you blog?

I do hope to hear the answers to these from lots of you!

Have fun,
Kate

Can I answer here, since I am Commentless in the Blogosphere? (oo, that rhymes (-:)

1. The Hawk and The Dove by P. Wilcock, and Les Miserables, by V. Hugo.
2. The land of Pride & Prejudice. Care to join me?
3. I am very, very ticklish. (Don't even try it -- it makes me really grouchy.)
4. "Don't waste time with doubt, worry or comparison. Life passes so quickly, don't waste the adventure God has planned just for YOU."
5. I decided to blog as a way of remembering. My children are growing fast, we read and think about a lot of things, and I don't want it all to get swept away with the time.

There you go, game girl. (-:

Oh, I am always game to talk about myself, even though I've already participated.

1. Books - A Separate Peace by John Knowles, and Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt (I know this isn't technically fiction, but it was a real eye opener to me)
2. I'm with Diane - land of P&P
3. I can burp the alphabet.
4. "Find peace with God."
5. I blog because I have lots to say, and when I blog, if people don't listen to me and ignor me, I am not aware of it!

1. Pilgrim’s Progress and Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde
2. I need to be in Lorenzo de Medici’s Florence. I need to hear DaVinci et al discussing the meaning of life, beauty, goodness.

3. I have a book to write.

4. Life! Eternal Life!

5. Originally, I started my site so that I could stay connected to what the teens in my life were thinking, but then I started enjoying the chance to reflect on my own life, reading, relationships…

1. A Christmas Carol and Brave New World

2. If John and Abigail Adams could be my parents then I would say Masschuesetts mid 1700's.

3. I once danced with Bruce Springsteen at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.

4. I would sing (hypothetically I would have a wonderful, spellbinding voice) "Gotta Serve Somebody" by Bob Dylan

5. So I remember.
