Concerned about too many carbs? I have the answer!

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutritionand health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION:Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

:+)
Have a smiley kind of day!

Oh, I like this one! I think it's absolutely on the right track. Here in southern Ontario, someone did a study of Old Order Mennonite men - Low German speakers. They eat very fatty diets and had lower cholesterol and fewer heart attacks than the general population. That study could be on to something.

Maybe we should all start speaking Esperanto?

Oh my goodness! I love it. I knew there was something detrimental (besides just the mental) of speaking English. Hah! I didn't know you loved History. It's my favorite subject and I think the kids are succumbing to my influence. We should compare notes sometime. Shari

Just thought I should take a minute to formally apologize for stealing your stuff. Sorry, but all's fair in love and blogs...
